Legal Term of the Day: Right to Life, Liberty, and Security
Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.
The Article is the briefest one in the entire Declaration. However, it is the most important one among all the rights.
This implies that the international community and the states in their constitutions have to take the responsibility to provide a life wherein people meet their minimum requirements of life
These are especially, food, clothing and shelter. These are the basic requirements to lead a life and able to exercise their rights freely.
